Honoring the Memory of Juris Kiriks (1950–2025)
The FINSO Presidium announces with deep sorrow the passing of Juris Kiriks (June 1950 – November 2025) and expresses its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones.
Juris Kiriks had served as the President of FINSO since the registration of our organization in 2008.
He will forever remain an example of boundless dedication to his passion for the game of Novuss, and of wisdom in uniting people from different countries to promote Novuss around the world.
He was compassionate, empathetic, and always attentive to the problems of others. He was ready to extend a helping hand to those in need, supporting others not only with words but with deeds.
He generously shared his knowledge with everyone eager to learn.
His persistence and kindness in communication helped him find like-minded people and unite individuals and countries playing Novuss.
The international Novus community has lost one of its most valuable members — a guardian of the finest traditions of sporting Novuss.
It is hard to believe he is gone, hard to imagine that there will be no more calls from Riga and no familiar, friendly voice saying: “I suggest we discuss our Novuss matters.”
We will forever remember his boundless energy, determination, and his noble human and ethical qualities.
His bright memory will live on in our hearts forever, and his name will remain a part of the history of Novuss.

Президиум ФИНСО сообщает о смерти Юриса Кирикса (июнь 1950 – ноябрь 2025) и выражает глубокое соболезнование родным, близким, коллегам и друзьям в связи с его безвременной кончиной.
Юрис Кирик был Президентом FINSO с момента регистрации нашей организации в 2008 году.
Он всегда будет для нас примером безграничной преданности своему увлечению игрой в новус, и мудрости в деле объединения разных людей из разных стран для продвижения новуса на нашей планете.
Он был отзывчивым, чутким и неравнодушным к чужим проблемам. Всегда протягивал руку помощи нуждающимся в нем, поддерживал не только словом, но и – делом.
Он щедро делился своими знаниями со всеми желающими.
Его настойчивость и доброжелательность в общении позволили находить единомышленников и объединить людей и страны играющие в новус.
Международное новусное движение потеряло одного из своих самых ценных членов, сохранявшего и оберегавшего самые лучшие традиции спортивного новуса.
Трудно поверить в его уход, трудно представить, что никогда не раздастся больше звонок из Риги и знакомый приветливый голос не произнесет: «Предлагаю обсудить наши новусные дела».
Мы навсегда запомним его неуемную жизненную энергию, целеустремленность, высокие душевные и этические качества.
Светлая память о нем сохранится в наших сердцах навсегда, а его имя – в истории развития новуса.
